Real Madrid are ready to sell Gareth Bale this summer! Those are the latest news from Spain, daily sports newspapers AS revealed. According to their sources close to the club, Florentino Perez has lost the patience with the Welsh international and will want to sell him after the season ends.
Reportedly, Real Madrid’s president does not believe Bale can become the leader he was expected to be after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. The Welshman was expected to step up with his performances since the loss of Portuguese star, but the introverted star is playing even worse than in some previous seasons.
Bale has just 10 goals to his name in La Liga and Champions League combined and this time Perez is unlikely to give him another chance. Real Madrid will want to bank on him as much as possible and as things stand, the Premier League clubs will be the favourites for his signature. Bale would probably also want a return to England, as their clubs have the financial and sporting lure that some other leagues lack.
