Chelsea will do everything they can to keep hold of Eden Hazard, according to Le10Sport.
The Belgian wide attacker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for ages now. He has talked about it himself on numerous occasions, and while he never hid his dream of playing for Real, he also never ruled out the possibility of remaining at Stamford Bridge for a long time and perhaps even retiring there.
The Champions League holders have been struggling for goals this season after Cristiano Ronaldo left them last summer to join Juventus, and Hazard has been seen as the best replacement available. However, there hasn’t been an official bid yet and now it seems Chelsea won’t be entertaining the idea of parting ways with Hazard soon, despite securing the signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund who will join them soon.
Furthermore, Chelsea has been handed a two-window transfer ban by FIFA, and even though the decision is currently being contested, letting Hazard go at this point would certainly seem unwise.
